Due to the lousy weather coming and show staff help illiness , we decided to cancel the Feb 11, Horse show . I really wanted to start this season on time
this year, but ole mother nature said no.

Neosha want to welcome everyone to the 2012 show
season . Our first horse show will the “Fuzzy Horse Show” a free special halter for the horse with the most hair. Added a free costume class for people wanted to have fun , the theme will be Valentine Day … The winner have to provide pic’s for our web..
This year we added some neat year-end awards ..Take advantage of the Halter Horse of the Year Award. We added 14-18 youth age group this year. The new beginner division this is a great start for youth and adults, this is a walk trot in almost every event. Please let me know by wednesday if need stalls and shaving.
Looking forward to the 2012 in October two day show the “ Oklahoma Challenge” Take advantage of the added money to the Halter classes – Open Walk Trot & Open Western Pleasure class. The added money will be base of the performance of the all shows. The challenge will have a second date for speed events and looking into cattle events.

I have added a new age division to the 2012 show bill, 14-18 youth. which will have show and year end awards.
Neosha will be starting the 2012 season on Feb 11 at the Mc Clain County Expo …. We are in the process of updating our web site , however if you need a show bill , please e-mail at showneosha@windstream.net . The show bill is the same as last year with a couple changes.
Neosha has some new year-end and show high points: Starting in 2012 Neosha will have the Halter Horse high point at the show and still have year end high point. A beginner division has been added to our show bill for show hi-point and year high Hi point . The beginner classes are walk/trot in the following the classes- english walk trot- english equitation-showmanship-western walk trot- western horsemanship & trail. These classes are walk-trot and THERE WILL BE NO CROSS ENTRY. These classes have no age requirement. At every show we will have an English All Around Award and Western All Around Award. Total points is both Open & either All Ages Youth or Adult.
Show dates are 2/11-3/17-4/7-5/5-5/19-7/28-9/22- 10/26 & 10/27

Well folks we just cannot win this year- either the weather or someone at fairgrounds messing up. Due to the Purcell Fairgrounds error, they booked another event on the same day of the horse show , we decided to cancel the November 12 show all together. I personally want to thank everyone for making Neosha’s 20th year a success ! I decided to just end the 2011 season with the Challenge. The schedule for next year will be as follows at Purcell is Feb 11-Mar 24- April 7 May 5- May 19. Aug 11 Sept 22 and Oct 27. May have AQHA in July. Have a great year and thanks folks.
Our Oklahoma Challnge this year will be held at McClain County Expo in Purcell Oklahoma on October 29,2011. The show bill will be similar to our current show bill and again great championship, class awards and show high point.
